Emerald Crater operates as a booking facilitator, connecting travellers with eco-certified accommodation providers and tour operators. We act as an intermediary and are not the direct provider of accommodation, transport, or tour services.
Booking Process
When you submit a booking enquiry through our website:
- Your enquiry is sent to our team for review and processing
- We will contact you to confirm availability and provide detailed pricing
- A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation and any required deposit has been processed
- Prices displayed on our website are indicative and subject to change based on availability and season
Payment Terms
Payment terms for confirmed bookings:
- A deposit of 30% is typically required to secure your booking
- Final payment is due 30 days before your scheduled experience
- All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified
- Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider
Cancellation Policy
Our standard cancellation terms are:
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus administration fee of $50 AUD
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% of total booking value retained, remainder issued as credit
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refund available, but booking may be rescheduled subject to availability and additional fees
Some partner operators may have different cancellation policies which will be communicated at the time of booking.
Your Responsibilities
As a user of our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when making enquiries and bookings
- Ensure all travellers in your group meet physical requirements for selected experiences
- Inform us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or accessibility needs
- Arrange appropriate travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations during your travels
- Follow instructions from guides and accommodation staff regarding safety and environmental protocols
Health and Safety
Many of our experiences involve physical activity in natural environments. You acknowledge that:
- Outdoor activities carry inherent risks including weather changes, wildlife encounters, and uneven terrain
- You are responsible for assessing your own fitness level against activity requirements
- Operators reserve the right to refuse participation if they deem it unsafe
- You should consult a medical professional before participating if you have health concerns
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Medical emergencies and evacuation
- Personal belongings and equipment
- Personal liability
Emerald Crater is not responsible for costs arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, natural disasters, or personal emergencies.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is owned by Emerald Crater or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
